Objectives:
1. Raise Awareness and Knowledge:
Increase awareness among 100 traditional healers about hepatitis, its modes of transmission, and the importance of prevention. Enhance the knowledge of traditional healers regarding the signs, symptoms, and risk factors associated with hepatitis.
2. Promote Safe Practices
Educate traditional healers on adopting and promoting safe practices to prevent the spread of hepatitis. Emphasize the importance of maintaining hygiene standards in their practices to minimize the risk of hepatitis transmission.
3. Conduct Data Collection:
Collect relevant data to assess the baseline knowledge of traditional healers regarding hepatitis prevention. Gather information on the current practices and beliefs related to hepatitis within the traditional healing community.
4. Establish a Supportive Network:
Create a network among traditional healers to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and peer support. Develop a platform where traditional healers can access ongoing education, share best practices, and seek assistance regarding hepatitis prevention.
