Objectives:
1. Launch Health Research Dissemination Project which aims to disseminate the health research results by swahili
language in order to close the health knowledge gap and increase
awareness on prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
2. Create awareness about the importance of the project.
3. Brand organizational objectives.
Project Overview:
The Health Research Dissemination Project was successfully launched on April 29, 2023, at Liberty Street, Mwanza. The event saw the participation of more than 500 individuals, including CHADF members, journalists, SMAUJATA members, and concerned citizens.
Activities:
The launch included the distribution of brochures on Schistosomiasis, H.Pylori, and depression to community members, providing insights into the project's accomplishments and significance.
Environmental community cleaning was conducted to promote a healthy and clean environment.
Efforts were made to raise awareness about the project's objectives and to reinforce the organization's brand.
Outcomes:
Over 500 participants received health education during the event.
Citizens expressed a desire for the program to extend its reach to all communities in Mwanza.
The high demand for brochures underscored the community's interest in the project.
